Because it is built on open standards, Magellan is embeddable, offering our customers access to a wealth of well-studied and well-written algorithms.

The combination of Spark’s algorithms with OpenText EIM will give our customers the ability to apply predictive analytics to EIM: from interactive analytics and business intelligence in finance to high performance batch computing for genomics research to connecting millions of homes to real-time stream processing gas meters.
The evolution of EIM has moved from governing information to building apps on this information and finally, to its future state, which is to unlock data to find answers. We laid the foundation of the future with OpenText Release 16—the most comprehensive digital platform in the market today. Magellan is the promise of EIM fulfilled.
OpenText can now fully automate Engagement to Insight: Engagement, Capture, Content, Process, Collaboration, Discover, Exchange, and Insight. This is as important as when Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) could automate Campaign to Cash. From Engagement to Insight, customers will be able to answer their most difficult business questions by unleashing the value of their data with Magellan.
In the same way that Ferdinand Magellan unlocked the world by circumnavigating it, OpenText Magellan unlocks the potential for the enterprise.
