When you’re start your career in the technology industry, it can be difficult to know how to navigate the organization and the industry. Having a mentor or a sponsor to help guide you can accelerate your progression and provide new opportunities that might not otherwise have been available. At the same time, once you’ve become more established in the industry it can be extremely rewarding to mentor or sponsor up-and-coming talent — if you know how.
