Extended ECM Documentum for SAP Solutions
OpenText™ Extended ECM Documentum for SAP® Solutions was launched in July to enable SAP customers using OpenText™ Documentum™ as a content repository to benefit from having this content available for use in SAP business processes. Extended ECM Documentum for SAP solutions Release 16 EP7 adds further capabilities for workspace creation and management, using templates to automate the process of creating workspaces and synchronizing permissions between SAP and OpenText.
By leveraging some of the components in OpenText™ Documentum™ D2 Smart View, Extended ECM Documentum for SAP solutions offers mobile support for both Android and iOS devices.
Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors
OpenText™ Extended ECM for SAP® SuccessFactors® brings compliant employee file management to SAP SuccessFactors customers. Release 16 EP7 features several usability improvements including:
- Automated document assignment to route SAP SuccessFactors documents by type to the corresponding folder in Extended ECM
- Additional SAP SuccessFactors events such as Employee Hire and Change in Employee Location in the Event action center to automate tasks and letter generation
- Some HR processes such as employee promotion require an effective date. In Release 16 EP7 documents can now be generated with the effective date in place signalling when the change will take effect
Vendor Invoice Management for SAP Solutions and Business Center for SAP Solutions
To provide more flexibility for customers, both OpenText™ Vendor Invoice Management for SAP® Solutions and OpenText™ Business Center for SAP® Solutions Release 16 EP7 support integration with the recently launched OpenText™ Core Capture for SAP® Solutions. This is a full cloud capture solution that offers the benefits of OpenText’s machine learning and OCR technologies while reducing off-cloud footprints and increasing productivity.
Business Center for SAP solutions
Some of the most labor-intensive aspects of any digitization process are manual corrections and inputs. Business Center for SAP Solutions EP7 includes new capabilities to prompt or automatically handle corrections based on previous interactions. If a document type is flagged for missing a detail, such as a supplier number, Business Center will automatically prompt the user with the learned value based on previous updates to similar documents. This saves time when manually processing corrections.
Intelligent Capture for SAP solutions
OpenText™ Intelligent Capture for SAP® Solutions Release 16 EP7 (formally Information Extraction Service) includes templates for a large number of common document types, such as Delivery Notes, Sales Orders, Invoices, Purchase Orders, HR letters and many more. It also includes automation capabilities to support customers migrating from previous versions, which may have had customer document types implemented, to the latest version of OpenText Intelligent Capture to speed migration and minimize re-creation of the same templates.
