B2B gateways are vital to organizations of all sizes to streamline, standardize and secure the exchange of business information with their trading partners. Yet many organizations use siloed solutions that support one but not all of their B2B requirements.

The latest release of OpenText™ BizManager delivers new modernization, usability and security features. It also offers on-premises control and security for B2B integration, data translation and managed file transfer (MFT) to exchange any document type or size in a single, integrated platform.

Improved integration capabilities

This release improves the flexibility of BizManager through modern integration methods including support for RESTful web services. Clients can connect to BizManager using its RESTful API and download data from their mailbox.

In addition, we increased the connectivity options available from BizManager to web service providers.

Expanded communication protocol support

With new AS4 protocol support, leverage more secure, flexible web services while providing payload security working with SecureLink’s new AS4 relay– authentication, compression and non-repudiation/message receipt acknowledgement.

Increased regional connectivity

The Zengin and Ryutsu BMS protocols are important within the Japanese financial services, retail and supply chain sectors. We now support both the client and server requirements of these protocols as well as routing Ryutsu BMS messages securely across firewalls via SecureLink’s new relay.

Unlimited file size for data translation

There is now no file size restriction for data translation in BizManager 16.6 so that large files can be efficiently translated without the need to break them up. Users have the option to perform the data translation in-memory or offload to the file systems, and can select the processing method that best suits the specific workflow.

Simplified mapping with human-readable document viewer

Developing and troubleshooting data maps can be complex/confusing, particularly with EDI, with segments and elements using codes that are difficult to understand. Human-readable document views make it easier to visualize and understand data and data elements. This simplifies the creation and improves the quality of data maps and testing data so you can accelerate the onboarding of new trading partners and document types.
