The rate of technological change is accelerating. Businesses today are faced with a tsunami of fourth industrial revolution technologies—artificial intelligence, automation, 5G, the Internet of Things—and this is just the beginning. Powered by hordes of data, these remarkable emerging technologies are imposing new demands on the enterprise. Disruption is everywhere. For enterprises to thrive, they must transform into information companies.

Information is an asset. Information is an opportunity. And, those who harness it will compete and thrive in the fourth industrial revolution.

I invite you to join us at Enterprise World 2019 in Toronto from July 9-11, where the discussion will center on how Enterprise Information Management (EIM) provides the Information Advantage, helping organizations transform their operations, workforces and business relationships. This year is shaping up to be our biggest and best Enterprise World yet, with new and updated programs covering topics most requested by our customers, amazing keynote speakers and great opportunities to meet and collaborate with peers and experts.

We are excited to showcase our expanded EIM platform, OpenText Release 16 EP6, which empowers the enterprise to use information to its fullest potential. EP6 offers innovations in automation and AI that connect, synthesize and deliver information to create new efficiencies, produce better insights and support smarter decisions. Fundamentally integrated with every part of the enterprise, EP6 maximizes the value of information from end to end to drive productivity, growth and lasting competitive advantage. This update sets the stage for achieving the Information Advantage.

In his keynote, Muhi Majzoub, OpenText Executive Vice President of Engineering, will discuss additional details about EP6 and share a first look at OpenText Cloud 19.2, which includes enhancements to the OpenText Business Network, Trading Grid, Content Services and OpenText OT2, our EIM-as-a-Service platform. Throughout Enterprise World, attendees will get a chance to explore flexible paths to the cloud that allow organizations to pull together siloed infrastructure (including off-cloud, managed services, SaaS applications and public and private clouds) while balancing regulatory and security requirements, existing investments and the agility and cost-savings that cloud delivers.

We have a spectacular lineup this year that includes two fantastic guest speakers. Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web and CTO of Inrupt, Inc., will kick off the exciting event with his unique perspective on the role of the internet and technology in today’s world and how it may evolve in the future. And, to bring the event to a close, I will be hosting a fireside chat with award-winning musician and humanitarian, Peter Gabriel. As creator of human rights organization WITNESS.org, co-founder of global leader group Elders.org and recipient of the Man of Peace award from the Nobel Peace Prize Laureates, he will undoubtedly have valuable wisdom to share with us.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee and Peter Gabriel

Peter Gabriel’s legacy of compassion and philanthropy highlights another important theme of Enterprise World: Information is for the good. I firmly believe technology holds tremendous power to change our world for the better; it is already being used in so many inspiring ways. Global education and literacy rates are rising thanks to the ubiquity of computers and the internet, new technologies like electric vehicles and green energy will be the foundation of a sustainable future and AI and big data are improving healthcare and saving lives. It’s an amazing time to be alive.

Information is enabling incredible transformations in the ways we work, live and understand the world around us. World-leading organizations in every industry, including 90% of the Fortune 500, are using OpenText EIM to create information advantage and become tomorrow’s disruptors. Join the ranks of successful companies that rely on OpenText to evolve their technology strategy, processes, governance and culture.

Reimagine information with us at Enterprise World 2019. You won’t want to miss it!
