Master legal processes at scale – Learn how at OpenText World 2022

Join the Legal Tech track

IT, info-security, compliance, HR and business unit leaders are increasingly tasked with collaborating with their legal department colleagues to mitigate legal risk to the organization, whether promulgated by litigation, regulatory investigations, or suspicions of internal wrongdoing such as IP theft, cybersecurity breaches and data privacy compliance.

Join us at the Legal Tech track at OpenTextTM World 2022 in Las Vegas, where we’ll explore the increasing importance of collaboration amongst legal leaders and their business counterparts in applying the right technology, processes and expertise to optimize workflow, efficiency and security of critical legal content.

OpenText Legal Tech

In the Legal Tech sessions, we will explore the increasing importance of collaboration amongst legal leaders and their IT and business counterparts in applying the right technology, processes and expertise to optimize workflow, efficiency and security of critical legal content. Legal leaders will gain a better understanding of how to leverage technology and process to optimize results. Non-legal stakeholders will come away with a more in-depth understanding of legal technology applications and use cases to improve efficiency, lower risks and costs, and align with corporate IT initiatives.

A session you don’t want to miss

LT01 Handshake protocol: Streamlining workflows among RIM, IT, Security and Legal for eDiscovery

eDiscovery is not a single activity but rather a complex multi-step process in which electronically stored information must be identified, preserved and extracted from everyday business communication applications and data stores (the left side of the equation) and made accessible to the legal team for review to find the facts fast (the right side of the equation).  Coordinating the lines of communication between the left and right sides of the workflow is critical to maximizing efficiency and minimizing cost and risk.  Join our experts to learn how RIM, info governance, IT, security and legal experts can optimize communication and workflows for eDiscovery projects.

Connect with Legal Tech experts in your preferred format

We will also be hosting several types of sessions designed to help you get the information you need in the format you prefer.

Workshop sessions will focus on “how to” topics such as “how to optimize your workflows” or “how to increase productivity” and will give you hands-on experience exploring a technical topic. Workshops will be small and interactive sessions where you can engage with an expert panel, see demos, ask questions and get the answers you need to discover your information advantage.

During the roundtable sessions, we’ll share tips and tricks, expert advice, or relevant industry trends. The roundtable sessions are designed to be informal and engaging networking opportunities where we can come together and have open conversations about the industry.

We’ll also have 45-minute lunch and learns. During these informal and interactive gatherings, you can connect with like-minded individuals and explore concepts related to an industry challenge or technical topic.

We’re also bringing back hands-on labs with the Developer Lab, the Product Lab and the Innovation Lab, giving you the opportunity to check out the latest Legal Tech innovations.

Lastly, you can book one-on-one time with an OpenText Legal Tech expert to dive deeper into your specific use case.
