I’m pleased to announce that today’s release of OpenText products, platforms and services further extends our enterprise cloud strategy, completing the need of our customers to access their business-critical information in the most convenient, secure and agile ways possible.

We are taking our customers above the clouds where conditions are #CAVU, “Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited.” I can’t think of a better aviator metaphor to use for our enterprise cloud strategy because it offers the Intelligent and Connected Enterprise increased visibility, along with unlimited potential to perform, innovate and succeed.

The OpenText Cloud is an integrated platform that spans off-cloud, business networks, private and public clouds to provide unprecedented customer transformation capabilities for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The extended OpenText cloud strategy provides solutions that include OpenText Cloud 16 (as a part of Release 16), OpenText Anywhere and the release of applications on our next-generation Enterprise Information Management (EIM) platform, OpenText OT2.

OpenText Cloud 16

The OpenText Business Network is a cloud platform that facilitates efficient, secure and compliant collaboration across digital ecosystems of people, systems and things. OpenText Business Network Cloud 16.10 expands business to the cloud network. This release includes enhancements to the Trading Grid, Industrial IoT, Identity and Access Management (IAM) and security, supply chain management, fax and secure information exchange. For more details, I encourage you to read the blog by our EVP of Engineering and Cloud Services, Muhi Majzoub.

OpenText Anywhere

A “run anywhere” approach provides flexible options to outsource. We are committed to offering our EIM solutions on popular hyper-scale cloud infrastructures, including Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Along with the launch of Release 16 EP5, we have announced a new partnership with Google to optimize our solutions in the Google Cloud. Moving forward, we will work together to explore integrations with Google Analytics, G-Suite and more. OpenText solutions and managed services in partner clouds give our customers the flexibility to manage their information securely and at global scale.

We have also partnered with Microsoft to deliver OpenText Extended ECM for Microsoft Dynamics 365. This integration will offer organizations enhanced and seamless customer engagement to help drive business success. This latest announcement is evidence of our commitment to our partnerships to deliver our EIM Suites, applications and services in popular cloud infrastructures, including Microsoft Azure.

OpenText OT2

Built from the ground up on a micro-services architecture, OpenText OT2 delivers compelling applications for business users, a modern developer platform and hybrid EIM services—all on a single Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform.

OT2 brings SaaS to our customers running on our on-premise and managed hosted solutions, extending the value of their investments. We are going to develop applications on OT2 that will extend the capabilities of these key platforms. This evolutionary approach will give our customers a graceful path to the cloud.

With this release, we are pleased to introduce three new applications: OpenText Legal Center (expanding on the capabilities of eDOCS), OpenText Quality Center (extending our Life Sciences Solution) and Extended ECM for SuccessFactors Public Cloud Edition.

As part of our enterprise cloud strategy, OpenText OT2 completes the need for our customers to securely access their content-rich business applications with hybrid, on-premises or in a public cloud deployment.

OpenText is helping the world’s largest businesses reinvent themselves with powerful business information applications on any cloud infrastructure for optimized customer experience, operational excellence and transformational business models. It’s an amazing time to be The Information Company with “Ceiling and Visibility Unlimited.” Our expanded OpenText cloud strategy enables #CAVU to power the Intelligent and Connected Enterprise.
