All knowledge is cumulative.

Consider that every thought, novel, painting, poem, symphony, and software code has been created using the world’s most powerful computing system: the human brain (which happens to weigh about as much as a modern laptop).

Truths only exist through our collective evolutions and innovations.

To reveal a truth is to accumulate enough knowledge. To create a truth is to innovate.

Three extremes are converging to accelerate the rate at which we innovate: connectivity, automation, and computing power. Together, these forces will shape our world in unimaginable ways. Even now, these extremes are enabling the human species to guide and manipulate evolution.

I, for one, am excited to experience the impact these forces will have. It is like observing an hourglass filling from the bottom up or superfluid helium’s dual nature when it climbs the wall of its container.

Join me in this blog series, as I explore how the following trends and technologies will significantly impact the world:

  1. Connectivity
  2. Automation
  3. Artificial Intelligence
  4. Internet of Things
  5. Living to 150
  6. IQ of 1,000
  7. Climate Change
  8. The Nature of Commerce
  9. The Nature of Conflict
  10. Impact on Society
